Power electronics technology is a compulsory core course for the majors of electrical engineering and automation, and it is also the basis of the following courses such as electric drive automatic control system. This course includes four parts: power electronic devices, power electronic converter technology, power electronic control technology and power electronic application. Through the study of this course, students will be familiar with the principles, characteristics and use methods of various power electronic devices and master the structure, working principle, control methods and experimental skills of various power electronic circuits. In addition, students are capable of analyzing, designing and calculating the typical power electronic circuits and systems, and are familiar with the application scope and technical-economic indicators of various power electronic devices.
